E3 2014: Next new Platinum Games IP exclusive to Xbox One

Platinum Games has signed an exclusivity deal with Microsoft for its next original game.

The Bayonetta creator has released its last few titles on Nintendo platforms, including The Wonderful 101 and Infinite Space, but this announcement suggests the studio makes deals on a game by game basis.

The new title, Scalebound, was introduced by Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya and is only in development for Xbox One.

The trailer suggests that players will team up with dragons to take down bigger beasts, while also wearing dragon scale armour and, er, headphones for dubstep music.

No word on a release date was given.
