EA responds to PS3 Madden criticism

Following some heavy criticism of the PS3 incarnation of EA’s Madden 08 in US newspaper The USA Today, a developer working for the publisher has sought to justify the difference between the various next-gen versions, CVG

It was our intention to put out the best possible with Madden across ten platforms,” an EA technical team member said in a statement.

In the case of the next-generation consoles, many publishers have been developing titles for the Xbox 360 for over three and a half years while everyone who publishes now for the PS3, with the exception of Sony, has been developing for the PS3 for only a little over one full year.”
