EAs CFO Jenson resigns

Electronic Arts CFO Warren Jenson is to leave the publisher.

Jenson has served in the position for six years. He will stay with the firm to assist with its fiscal year-end close and financial reporting process – and ensure a smooth transition for his successor.

"I want to thank Warren for the leadership he has provided in the past six years," said EA CEO John Riccitiello.

"He has built a first class finance department and has been a contributor to our growth and strategic initiatives."

According to documents filed with the SEC, Jenson will remain an employee of EA –through to September 30th this year.

That’s unless he begins employment with a new company, his contract is terminated or he elects to terminate the agreement earlier.

EA said that it will announce a new CFO shortly.

The news comes only a week after John Pleasants was hired to be President of Global Publishing and Chief Operating Officer for EA.
