El Shaddai to be distributed in PAL regions by Konami

Konami has announced that it will be distributing the UTV Ignition title El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

El Shaddai sees players take place in an epic battle of good versus evil, saving the human race in a stylised, minimalist world on PS3 and 360.

Kunio Neo, president for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH said: "We are very pleased to add such a strong action title to our portfolio, and to work with a team as obviously talented as UTV Ignition."

Vip Patel, sales director for UTV Ignition, commented: "To have Konami on board as a distribution partner is very important to us. They have an eye for good, original titles and El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron certainly falls into that category."

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will be released in Europe and Australia on 8th September, and in North America on 16th August.
