Epic developing new UE4-powered Unreal Tournament

Epic is set to reveal the latest game in its Unreal Tournament series on Thursday.

The "future of Unreal Tournament" will be revealed through a Twitch stream on Thursday at 2pm EDT (7pm BST). The news was revealed by Epic VP of product development Paul Meegan and VP Mark Rein on Twitter.

Epic’s last game in the series was the UE3-powered Unreal Tournament 3, released in 2007 and published by Midway Games.

The game will be the second Epic IP to be developed using Unreal Engine 4, alongside its other upcoming title Fortnite.
