Phil Harrison says as many titles are in development on the continent as in the US

European devs making 50% of Microsoft’s Xbox One games

Half of all first-party Xbox One titles are currently being made in Europe.

That’s according to Microsoft’s Phil Harrison, who revealed this fact to attendees of the platform holder’s Gamescom press briefing.

“There are as many games in development in Europe as there are in the US,” he said.

Notable partners include Lionhead, the studio behind Fable Legends, Forza Horizon 2 dev Playground Games, and Frontier Developments, which is making its newest IP ScreamRide exclusive to Xbox One.
