Fable II dated

Microsoft has announced that Fable II will be released in North America and the UK in October.

The title will ship to US retailers on October 21st and UK stores three days later. The platform holder said that subsequent release dates throughout the rest of the world would arrive ‘in the coming months’.

The title has been developed by Peter Molyneux and Lionhead Studios – creators of the critically-acclaimed Fable and Black & White.

In addition to the standard retail version, Fable II” will be offered in a Limited Collector’s Edition through participating retailers, featuring a bonus ‘Making Of’ DVD, an Xbox Gold 48-hour trial card and more.

The standard edition Fable II will have an estimated retail price of 44.99, with the Limited Collector’s Edition selling for an SRP of 49.99. The game is rated PEGI 16+.
