Fallout: New Vegas Collectors Edition announced

Fallout: New Vegas will be accompanied by a Collector’s Edition when it hits shelves this autumn.

Bethesda announced the premium SKU would be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and contains a number of extra items that play up to the game’s post-apocalyptic Las Vegas theme.

Collector’s Edition purchasers will receive Lucky 7 poker chips, a recreation of the game’s Lucky 38 platinum chip and New Vegas-branded playing cards. The latter can be used to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, a new card game Obsidian Entertainment has created specifically for New Vegas.

There will also be a graphic novel prequel entitled All Roads and a documentary DVD: The Making of Fallout: New Vegas.

We’re offering this very cool collector’s edition to give fans the opportunity to own some of the items that they’ll discover while playing Fallout: New Vegas,” said Bethesda’s VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines.

We are also expanding their experience with the game by including a top-nothc graphic novel worthy of the Fallout name and a DVD that gives them a behind-the-scenes look at how the game was created.”
