First Black Ops DLC announced

Activision has announced the first details of its debut DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Called First Strike, the download will include four new multiplayer maps and a new level for the zombie mode.

Two of the new maps will be based on the game’s single player – Hong Kong and the Arctic Circle. The other two will share a Cold War setting, with one starring the Berlin Wall and the other taking place in an ice hockey stadium.

The DLC will go live on February 1st at an expected price of 1200 Microsoft Points (10.28).

Of course, at this year’s E3 in June Microsoft announced that it has penned a deal with Activision that gives it timed exclusivity on all Call of Duty DLC until 2012, so PS3 owners will have to wait a little while before getting access to the content.
