Sports game developer takes top prize, with Bossa Studios pipping Side to 2nd place after a tie-break

First Touch Games claim victory at Develop Quiz

Last night a wave of game development’s brightest minds descended on the tri-annual Develop Quiz.

First Touch Games claimed victory and took the spoils with a consistently strong performance to pip some of their bitter rivals to the top spot.

Bossa Studios and Side battled it out for 2nd place on a tie-breaker in which one member of each team had to name as many games beginning with the letter B or D in 20 seconds.

Bossa managed four games beginning with B, Side just one starting with the letter D.

Teams battled it out over topics including ‘Maps and Radars in games’, ‘Crossbows and Bows in games’, ‘Film Music in Seconds’, with the most challenging round coming in the form of ‘Working Titles of Films’.

Thanks to all the teams and the quiz’s headline sponsor Microsoft for making the ever-popular night yet another great success.

As well as the main quiz prizes, Marmalade’s Andrew Parker took home a Nokia Lumia 800 phone, donated by Microsoft and given out after a blind draw.

The next Develop Quiz will take place on May 15th. If you want to join in on the fun, book now and contact Kathryn.Humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk to avoid disappointment.
