Forza Motorsport 5 sells over 1m copies

Turn 10 racer Forza Motorsport 5 has sold more than one million copies on Xbox One.

Microsoft said that over one-third of Xbox One owners had purchased the game since it was released. The console is believed to have sold just over three million units since its launch on November 22nd, and has shipped 3.9 million units.

The firm has also claimed the title is "the best-selling racing game by console attach over the past decade".

Players have driven over 653 million miles, the equivalent of circling the Earth 49,223 times. Users have taken part in more than 94 million races and have accumulated eight million hours of gameplay.
