GAME announces Natal pre-order date

UK retailer GAME has confirmed that it will begin taking pre-orders for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 motion camera Natal on Sunday June 13th, Eurogamer reports.

Interestingly, this date coincides with Microsoft’s pre-E3 gathering in LA and not with its ‘proper’ E3 press conference the following day on Monday June 14th, suggesting that the platform holder might be set to announce key information at its informal shindig after all.

GAME’s website doesn’t specify the details people are clamouring for – namely, the device’s final name, release date and price.

In November last year MCV reported that Microsoft was looking to sell Natal for a very tempting sub-50. However, recent reports suggest that the company has had a change of heart and might instead favour a far higher RRP of around $150.

How this would translate in the UK of course remains a mystery. An optimistic forecast could see it arrive for as low as 100, but a realistic guess pegs the RRP at anything between 130-150.

Expect a better deal if you pick up Natal as part of a hardware bundle.
