GAME’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare midnight opening will happen on SUNDAY night

Activision and GAME are this year allowing fans who queue up for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at midnight to get the game a day earlier than everyone else.

GAME will in the UK (much as GameSpot and Walmart are in the US) open the doors to 316 stores at 11pm on Sunday November 2nd to allows gamers to pick up the Day Zero Edition of the game a day ahead of the release of the vanilla version.

The official launch event will take place at GAME’s Stratford store. There’s no official press launch event this year for the first time in what seems forever.

The standard version of the game, incidentally, will officially go on sale at midnight on the night of Monday November 3rd, although it won’t be available to buy until shops open for trading on the day of release on November 4th.

GAME has the exclusive rights to an assortment of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare related goodies this year, including a Special Edition version of the game, an in-game personalisation pack and a Winter Clothing pack that costs 20 if bought with the game, as well as the Limited Edition 1TB Xbox One hardware bundle and COD-themed Xbox One controller.
