Just as it did at E3, Microsoft has used its Gamescom platform to show off some brand new footage of Dark Souls 3.
Those who have played Bloodborne will immediately recognise the influence here, with the combat noticeably faster than previous entries in the series. That influence seems to have touched upon the world design too. The level showed in the video below could come straight out of Old Yarnham.
At the same time, this is definitely Souls. Shields are most definitely back, as is the series’ trademark bosses and sprawling levels.
