GDC China early bird discounts end today

Think you should be doing business in China, one of the world’s fastest growing markets? If so, you should head to the Game Developers Conference China – but hurry, because early bird discount rates end in a matter of hours.

Taking place at the Shangai International Convention Centre from October 11th to 13th, GDC China will also feature a keynote by Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner, plus talks from companies as diverse and cutting-edge as CCP, Playfish, Blizzard and Big Huge Games.

The Independent Games Festival will also take its first steps outside of the US, encompassing the Independent Game Summit, IGF Pavilion showcase and the IGF Awards, while Scrum superman Clinton Keith will also be running one of his popular Scrum masterclasses alongside the event.

The deadline for early bird rates – which entitle the purchaser to a whopping 30 per cent off – is 12 midnight tonight, PST. MCV readers can also save an additional 10 per cent off VIP and Attendee passes if they use the code ‘GDCCMCV’ during the registration process.

Head over to the official GDC China website for more information and to register.
