Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock dated

Activision’s Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will arrive in stores on September 24th, available with or without a new customisable guitar controller.

Warriors of Rock is the sixth entry in the Guitar Hero franchise – a series that has sold more than 44m units to date.

The game features a new story mode narrated by Kiss’s Gene Simmons that allows players to defeat dark forces through the power of rock and roll. There’s also a Quickplay+ mode that allows gamers to play any song from the game immediately or download content.

There are over 90 tracks in the game including the likes of ‘Tick Tick Boom’ by The Hives, ‘Uprising’ by Muse and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Queen, as well as tracks from a number of other artists such as Rush, Alice Cooper, The White Stripes and Black Sabbath.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii on September 24th.
