Halo 5 Pink Mist Edition includes replica Needler, costs £450

Microsoft has revealed one of the more luxurious special editions of recent times.

The Halo 5 Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition: Pink Mist Edition, to give it its really quite remarkably lengthy full name, comes with a full scale 1:1 replica Needler pistol. It’s 29-inches long and 10-inches high.

The model features working LED lights and sound effects, the samples for which are taken directly from the game’s original digital files. Best of all though the top-mounted needled move up and down when the trigger is pressed.

That’s not the only inclusion, either. Also in the box is a Metal Earth Guardian model and a statue featuring both Master Chief and Spartan Locke. What isn’t included, however, is a physical copy of the game. Instead users get a download code.

It’s not cheap, however. The SKU costs a whopping 449.99, and is exclusive to GAME in the UK.
