Halo Wars passes 1m sales worldwide

Halo Wars, the Ensemble Studios RTS released for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 last month, has now sold over one million copies across the globe, the platform holder has confirmed.

To date the title has seen 2.6m multiplayer matches played online, totalling up more than 118 years of total playtime. On average, over 200,000 gamers play the game every day.

The game was first released in Asia on February 26th, a day later in Europe and in early March in North America. It was the final game to emerge from Microsoft’s now disbanded Ensemble Studios.
