New game in the works for classic Sega property

HumaNature Studios reviving Toejam & Earl

Canadian developer HumaNature Studios has revealed that it working on a revival for retro icons Toejam & Earl.

The studio posted three sketches from a brand new game in the series on its Facebook page, promising that it will be making an official announcement in "probably three or four weeks".

HumaNature – the developer behind PlayStation title Doki-Doki Universe – was founded by Greg Johnson, the game designer behind the Toejam & Earl series, which was last seen in 2002’s ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth. The original games were also released on the Wii Virtual Console, PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade.

Little else is known about the new game, but you can check out the sketches over on the Facebook page.
