Industry guru drafted in at SCi

New SCi CEO Phil Rogers has already handpicked the Chief Operating Officer he believes will turn around SCi’s fortunes.

Jurgen Goeldner joins the company with over 25 years’ experience within video games, including stints as an exec at Funsoft and THQ Germany.

"Jurgen has a wealth of experience which will be invaluable to SCi in undertaking our business review and managing our operations more effectively," said Rogers.

"I am delighted that he is joining us as our interim chief operating officer."

According to The Telegraph – which terms Goeldner an industry ‘guru’ – Rogers was instrumental in securing Goeldner’s services.

The news comes just three days after SCi’s former management team of CEO Jane Cavanagh, managing director of publishing Bill Ennis and managing director of studios Rob Murphy left the company.
