Infinity Blade heading to Xbox One

A version of popular iPhone RPG series Infinity Blade is apparently in production for Xbox One in China.

Kotaku reports that a number of Chinese gaming outlets are reporting that the game is being developed by Tencent, which itself owns 40 per cent of Infinity Blade developer Epic Games.

Also note that the game will be Kinect controlled, which considering the touchscreen nature of the series on iPhone is maybe no big shock.

Infinity Blade debuted on iPhone in 2010 and remains of the nicest looking games available on the platform. It was followed by two sequels in 2011 and 2013 respectively and has also spawned a spin-off book.

The series arguably still stands as one of the very best touchscreen action game adaptations. How that will translate on kinect is very much open to question.
