At least 18 workers now at Zampella and Westâ??s new dev outfit

Infinity-gate: New Respawn hires

More former Infinity Ward staff have joined rival studio Respawn Entertainment, adding further embarrassment to publisher Activision as it continues to leak staff.

The PR fight between Infinity Ward and Respawn continues to be fought over social networking site LinkedIn, with former Activision employees changing the status of their current employer to Zampella and West’s new dev outfit.

Today it was the turn of HR manager Kristin Cotterell, who news site Eurogamer revealed had changed her status on LinkedIn to a Respawn employee.

Respawn is the development outfit formed by ex-Infinity Ward heads Vince Zampella and Jason West after the duo were fired from Modern Warfare studio Infinity Ward. A timeline of the entire saga, its twists and turns, can be found here.

Cotterell is one of the 38 staff launching a lawsuit against Activision over the issue of alleged royalty payment delays.

Her defection to Respawn follows on from news revealed last week that four more Infinity Ward ex-staffers (Preston Glenn, Zied Rieke, Chad Genier and Sean Slayback) have also joined Respawn.

It is now believed that a total of 18 former Infinity Ward staff now work for Respawn.
