Kinect games to cost £29.99?

Games for Microsoft’s Kinect will cost significantly less than current Xbox 360 games at retail, reports suggest.

Edge Online reports that a highly placed retail source” claims that motion games revealed last night such as Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures, Dance Central and Your Shape: Fitness Evolved will cost just 29.99 in the UK.

This compares to between 39.99 and 54.99 for ‘standard’ games.

Whether this is a nod to the games’ comparative simplicity or a strategy to help appeal to the casual audience is a matter of opinion. We’ll be asking Microsoft about it as soon as we get the chance.
