Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix will launch for PlayStation 3 this year in both Europe and North America.
The compilation – unveiled on both US and Europe PlayStation Blogs – packs the Final Mix editions of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, featuring new boss battles, mini-games, weapons and other additions.
Birth by Sleep was originally released in 2010 on PSP, so the announcement marks the console debut for the title.
Square Enix released Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix in 2013 – a compilation containing Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and the cut scenes from 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix is due out at some point later this year. Here’s the official announcement trailer:
