Koch hires THQ staff

Former members of the UK THQ team have found a new home amongst the ranks of Koch Media.

Mark Fisher and Mike Richardson joined the firm earlier this week. Huw Beynon started at Koch last week and Suzanne Panter is due to join them.

Fisher has taken on the role of UK head of marketing and PR, stepping up from his previous position as senior brand manager at THQ. He worked on titles such as Saints Row and Metro, both of which were acquired by Koch earlier this year.

Richardson is now digital marketing manager, and will draw on his four years of experience as interactive marketing manager at THQ.

The team are incredibly excited to have both Mark and Mike and their invaluable experience from THQ joining the Koch Media marketing team,” said Northern Europe sales and marketing director Paul Nicholls.

It is going to be an important year for the company and with this added experience into our already highly successful and creative team, we are set for the journey ahead.”

Beynon joined as global brand manager, following his experience as THQ’s global communications boss.

Finally, Panter – who was previously senior PR?manager at THQ – is appointed as Koch’s PR manager.
