Revenues reach £1.6 billion

Konami nine-month profits hit £141m

Japanese publisher Konami has reported a 77.3 per cent increase in profit to £141m for the nine months ending December 31st 2011.

Revenues for the period grew 3.3 per cent to £1.6 billion, bouyed by the successes of titles such as Metal Gear Solid remakes and the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card business.
