Licensed 4U reels in Big Fish deal

Some of the world’s biggest casual games are coming to 3DS and DS, courtesy of UK publisher Licensed 4U.

The company has signed a deal with Big Fish Games to publish its titles, including 13 titles for 3DS this year.

Big Fish’s most popular brands include Hidden Expedition, Mystery Case Files and Jewel Quest, which is a regular in the DS Top 10.

More than 100m Mystery Case Files titles have been downloaded globally to date.The deal starts with Hidden Expedition Titanic on June 15th on DS, with a 3DS version to follow.

Big Fish Games has a strong track record in sales at retail both throughout Europe and the US, a strong brand awareness and a perception of quality,” said Licensed 4U MD Adam Prichard (pictured).

We’re hoping for good sell-in figures on all titles. Casual gaming brands don’t come much bigger than Big Fish Games.”
