Metal Gear Rising confirmed for 2013

The spin-off to Konami’s flagship series will finally arrive early next year, the publisher has said.

A gameplay trailer shown during the latest episode of GTTV confirmed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released in 2013. The game is set after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4 and puts players behind the lightning sword of Raiden.

Konami also revealed that a Revengeance demo will be included with the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, which is due on Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.

Revengeance is being developed by Bayonetta studio Platinum Games in collaboration with Kojima Productions.
