MICROSOFT: Insomniac announces Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One

Insomniac Games is creating a new open-world shooter for Xbox One, titled Sunset Overdrive.

The game was introduced by Insomniac boss Ted Price during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Sunset Overdrive is a "stylised open world shooter" that changes every day thanks to the processing power and functionality of Xbox One’s cloud gaming.

This means that Insomniac can add new weapons and new missions every day.

The demo showed characters using ziplines and free-running to get around a colourful cartoonish city, fighting against mutant monsters with standard weapons like shotguns as well as improvised ones like an LP-launcher.

Sunset Overdrive is currently in development for Xbox One.
