MICROSOFT: Kinect Sports 2 confirmed

Kinect Sports: Season Two will be released on Xbox 360 Kinect this winter.

Microsoft demoed the sequel to its motion controller’s best-selling game at its E3 2011 conference, showing the audience golf and American football in-game.

Kinect Sports: Season Two producer Nicole Makila said: This is another extraordinary experience for the top-selling Kinect game to date.

It will be bringing you in-game voice and new Kinect gestures. Playing sports video games is now more realistic than ever.”

Makila demonstrated how gamers can use their voice to change clubs such as different pitching wedges. They can also swing their arm to hit the golf ball on-screen.

The original Kinect Sports made regular appearances in the Chart-Track Top 40 following Kinect’s launch last November.
