Microsoft registers new Halo domains

We may have underestimated Microsoft’s life after Bungie plans for the Halo franchise.

Last week the company registered domain names for Halo 7, Halo 8, and Halo 9 as reported by Fusible.

The swiping up of the URLs could indicate Microsoft has ideas well beyond 343 Productions run at Halo 4-6.

It could also indicate nothing more than a slightly over-vigorous covering of the bases regarding the series by the publisher – especially when you take into account the struggle it has had wrestling domains away from previous owners and generally making sure URLs are maintained for all relevant titles.

Regardless, it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll have plenty of Halo in our lives for years and years to come.

Halo 4 is due out November 6th on Xbox 360.
