MICROSOFT: Respawn’s Titanfall exclusive to Xbox One

Respawn Entertainment has jumped into bed with Microsoft for its first title, Titanfall.

The studio showed off its new sci-fi FPS during Microsoft’s E3 press conference. it will launch exclusively for Xbox One in spring 2014.

As rumoured last week, Titanfall pits players again both human soldiers and giant robots in large arenas, where there are able to pilot large mechs known as Titans once the machines are ready for deployment.

Players can also mount enemy titans and disable them with standard weapons.

Respawn Entertainment was famously set up by Infinity Ward founders Vince Zampella and Jason West after a dispute about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 royalties.
