Microsoft responds to Bungie deal

Microsoft has told Develop that their partnership with Bungie remains unchanged in light of the Bungie/Activision deal announced today.

In an official statement sent out to all interested parties, the company states: “Our partnership with Bungie as a first-party developer for the Xbox 360 remains unchanged”.

“Right now we’re deeply engaged with them on the development of Halo: Reach,” the statement adds.

No information as to the future of the Microsoft/Bungie relationship beyond the release of Halo: Reach is made within the statement.
