MICROSOFT: South Park creators mock SmartGlass

Animators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took a cheeky poke at Xbox’s new SmartGlass technology while promoting South Park: The Stick of Truth.

"How many times have you been watching an episode of south park, and thinking I want to be playing a game, on my tablet, while connected to my oven, while sitting in a refridgerator?" they said, mimicking Microsoft’s own intro earlier in the E3 press conference.

"We’re not doing that. We’re just here to talk about the game."

The pair then discussed how much effort has gone into the upcoming South Park RPG, The Stick of Truth. The pair even had to map out the fictional Colorado town for the first time since they began working on the show more than ten years ago.

South Park: The Stick of Truth puts players in the role of a new kid in town, who must team up with Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny to defeat evil.

It is due for release in 2013.
