Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Halo Mash-up Pack out today

The Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Halo Mash-up Pack is scheduled to arrive today via the Xbox Games Store, Microsoft has announced.

A post on Xbox Wire details the new $3.99 DLC, which packs a Halo-themed texture set, UI options, and Halo items for crafting.

The content drop brings 40 Halo character skins as well, such as Master Chief, Arbiter, Cortana and Sergeant Johnson. There’s also a series of pre-made Halo levels including like Blackout, Blood Gulch, Guardian and other fan favorites.

Minecraft console studio 4J developed the pack, so it’s likely the content will make its way to the Xbox One version at some point after its launch this August – though Mojang previously stated that many texture packs and skins won’t work on PS4 and Xbox One versions due to licensing deals.
