MW2 DLC is worth the investment

Coming in at the higher end of Xbox Live’s pricing range, the 1200 Microsoft Points – or just over 10 – that Activision is asking for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC has certainly raised a few eyebrows.

But Infinity Ward’s creative strategist Robert Bowling has insisted that the content will be well worth the asking price.

There’s definitely no doubt in my mind that these maps packs and the five maps are definitely worth the investment,” Bowling told CVG.

Anybody who buys them and then plays Modern Warfare 2 online is going to get their money’s worth out of these maps.

In an earlier interview with GamesRadar, Bowling added: You know players will always react to any price that’s announced, but this adds for some players hundreds and hundreds of hours of new gameplay to it, and on maps that have been proven to have a lot of mileage.

"I don’t think anyone who picks up this map pack is going to be disappointed with the purchase.”
