New, official Call of Duty: Ghosts PC specs are less demanding

The official minimum PC requirements for Call of Duty: Ghosts have been released.

They’re broadly the same as the Nvidia specs reported earlier in the month, although the GPU requirements have been paired back a bit from a GTX 550Ti to a GTS 450 and HDD space requirements have been reduced 10GB to 40GB.

Neither the Recommended nor Ultra specs have yet been released. Note that these numbers are significantly less demanding than those released for the now delayed Watch Dogs earlier this month.

Here are the COD Ghosts minimum specs:

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ / AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 40 GB
Video: Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better
Sound: DirectX compatible sound card
DirectX: DirectX 11
