New ZX Spectrum has already hit £100k funding target

The new Sinclair Spectrum Vega has already surpassed its 100,000 crowdfunding target to put the tiny computer in production.

The Indiegogo campaign only began on Monday but the computer has already caught the public’s affection and sold each of its 1,000 limited edition First Edition units.

The 100 system, launched by Clive Sinclairand Luton-based firm Retro Computers, apparently comes loaded with 1,000 games and its creators claim it will also run all 14,000 ZX Spectrum titles, some of which will be made available for download free of charge.
