Now Windows 10 gets an Early Access system

Microsoft is launching a rival to Steam’s Early Access on PC, based on the Xbox Game Preview system itdebuted last year.

During this week’s Gamescom event in Cologne, the platform holder announced Xbox Game Preview will come to Windows 10 later this year. As with XGP and Early Access, this will enable devs to let gamers play their titles before the projects are completed in order to gather feedback.

The first title to use Windows 10 Preview will be Rocketfish Games’ Everspace (pictured), a single-player rogue-like space shooter.
