Platinum linked to Darksiders acquisition

The executive director of Platinum Games has said he would love to buy the Darksiders IP from THQ.

The Vigil Games-developed IP is currently still up for grabs after no companies made a bid for the studio or franchise in yesterday’s THQ auction.

Taking toTwitter, as spotted byPolygon, Atsushi Inaba said he would be interested in purchasing the IP, but only if it was cheap”.

The lack of interest in Vigil Games or its Darksiders IP as part of this week’s THQ assets sale has left question marks over the future of the studio, although it still remains up for sale as part of THQ’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
