PlayStation Gamescom press conference confirmed for August 12th

The PlayStation Gamescom press conference will take place on August 12th.

That is the day before EA’s press conference, which this year is held on the publisher’s booth on the Wednesday.

PlayStation’s event will start at 7pm local time (6pm UK time).

Expect some European details and release date for PlayStation TV, plus some further trailers of titles announced at E3. But also expect a handful of new product announcements for PS4, as well. Sony has always been a huge supporter of Gamescom and often brings along big titles to the Cologne event.
