Porn virus targets games pirates

Piracy is bad and you shouldn’t do it. You don’t agree? Well, here’s another reason not to pirate games – your illicit midnight online porn habit could be exposed to the world.

CVG reports that a new Trojan called Kenzero is targeting online pirates downloading Japanese Hentai games (pornographic anime). Once downloaded, the virus poses as a game installation screen asking for various bits of personal details.

Oh, and it publishes the user’s full internet history online.

The good news is that it’s reasonably easy to remove the date – just pay the creator YEN 1,500 (10). It is estimated that around 5,000 have paid the ‘fine’ to date.
