Pro Evo deal for Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 will soon get one of the mobile platform’s most high-profile games to date; Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

Microsoft general manager Ron Pessner said the deal “cements the fact that [Windows Phone 7] is fast becoming a leading gaming platform”.

The title is already available on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Android Market.

Windows Phone 7 launched late last year in the US and Europe.

Microsoft has yet to reveal sales data for the OS, yet last year claimed that over 15,000 individual developers had registered for the device.
