Project Spark receives premium Year One Edition release

Free-to-play creation suite Project Spark is now available in a $50 Year One Edition.

The Xbox One and PC title was released last October, since when it has been downloaded nearly 3m times.

This new SKU bundles nearly all of its premium content together and also includes three months Project Spark Premium access – that gives players a range of perks such as additional upload slots, double XP and in-game credits.

It also includes free access to the next two content releases, but not the Rare-themed Conker pack.

There are some perks for existing players, too. Those who have either logged 150+ hours on the game, had their content downloaded 10k or more times of spent at least $40 in game will receive three months free Premium membership and some additional upload slots.

The existing in-game store has been reorganised, too, with many similarly themed items now bundled together. Subscription prices have also been dropped, as has the price of an assortment of content – including the Conker bundle. A number of items have also been permanently removed from the store.
