Resident Evil 2 Remake IS going to be built from the ground up

The forthcoming Resident Evil 2 remake is going to be a ‘from the ground up remake’.

That’s according to UK senior marketing director Stuart Turner, who took to Twitter to clarify some confusion surrounding the title.

This follows the firms latest financial report, which seems to have referred to the Resident Evil 2 Remake as ‘a remastered version of Resident Evil 2′.

This seems to have been amended, however, since it is now referred to as a ‘fully remade version of Resident Evil 2′.

Capcom announced Resident Evil 2 Remake in August, though little in the way of details surrounding the project were available.
