Sega swoops in for THQ axed staff

With THQ Studio Australia in Brisbane is closing its doors, Sega Studios Australia is now looking at avenues for providing opportunities for former THQ staff.

The group confirmed to MCV Pacific that they will be exploring options to recruit other positions to accomodate THQ staff.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of yet another great Australian developer," said Marcus Fielding, director at Sega Studios Australia,

"We are sorry to see THQ’s studios close their doors after so many years of game development."

Sega Studios Australia is now the largest development studio in Brisbane.
