Sledgehammer hires COD community boss

Sledgehammer Games has hired a new community manager, who will no doubt be working on the studio’s unannounced Call of Duty project.

The new recruit is Guy Beahm, who previously worked as premiere director at Machinima.com. He will now be responsible for developing and managing the online community for any Sledgehammer titles.

We’re pleased to officially announce Guy Beahm as our community manager for Sledgehammer Games,” said the studio’s CEO Glen Schofield.

Beahm added: I am extremely honoured to be a part of such a talent group of game makers. It’s a dream job to join this team and I thank [Sledgehammer] for giving me such a great opportunity.

My mission is to work with fans of Sledgehammer Games and Call of Duty to promote the great culture we have here as well as helping people get to know the team and the studio overall.”
