Sony and MLG partnership brings Planetside 2 to eSports arena

Sony Online Entertainment and Major League Gaming have announced an agreement to integrate PlanetSide 2 into eSports events.

The partnership will bring original PlanetSide 2 programming to MLG’s site and Twitch.tv channel, with details and a programing set to arrive in a matter of weeks.

Additionally, players in the MMOFPS can match up using MLG’s GameBattles system, which offers member services including tournaments, leagues and forums.

PlanetSide 2 will appear at MLG’s Winter Championship in Dallas from March 15-17 as well.
