Sony to announce PS4 launch date, price for India between 15-18 December

Sony has broken its silence on when it plans to announce launch details for the PS4 in India.

Sony will hold a press conference between 15th and 18th December to reveal its launch plans for the PS4 in India, PlayStation India head Atindriya Bose told MCV at the launch of Gran Turismo 6 in Mumbai today.

At the press conference, Sony will reveal the launch date and price for the PS4 and its peripherals. A concrete date and venue for the press conference will be revealed over the coming days.

Bose also told us that first-party PS4 games like Knack and Killzone Shadow Fall will be priced Rs 3,999.

Retailer Ezone has predicted that the PS4 will launch on 28th December, while Landmark claims the console will be priced Rs 45,000 in India. We’ll know soon enough.
