Job listing reveals 'preparation for the formation of a local subsidiary'

Square Enix planning new India office

Publishing firm Square Enix is looking to establish a new office in India, according to a job listing from the company.

Andriasang reports that the job requirements include speaking “native level Hindi”, the country’s national language.

As well as this, a conversational level of Japanese and English is also desired.

Key responsibilities for the advertised role include “preparation for the formation of a local subsidiary” and “survey and investigation of the local marketplace".

Square Enix recently opened its second Montreal office last November, whilst the company previously acquired UK publisher and developer Eidos in 2009.
